Football Recap: Milford Starts Season with Win Against Baird

Milford had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Baird Bears, posting a 58-12 victory.

Despite the loss, Baird still got an impressive performance from Kendell Miller, who rushed for 70 yards and one TD on only five carries. Miller didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended one pass.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milford will head out to take on Lucas Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baird, they will take on Bryson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
