Volleyball Recap: Circleville Tigers vs. Fairfield Union Falcons
There's no place like home for Circleville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Fairfield Union Falcons on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Tuesday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-12.
Addison Edgington paced Circleville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Edgington got some help from Ally Thornsley and her 26 assists. Thornsley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
When it comes to explaining why Fairfield Union lost, don't look at Brooklynn Ash. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and one assist. Ash has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 16 times she's played.
