Basketball Recap: North Zulch Takes a Loss

North Zulch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 81-40 loss at the hands of the Fayetteville Lions. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 62-37 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Zulch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

North Zulch will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvert at 11:00 a.m. on January 3, 2025. Fayetteville also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Giddings at 1:30 p.m. on December 31st.
