Basketball Recap: Pequot Lakes Takes Down Hinckley-Finlayson in a Playoff Battle

Pequot Lakes had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 73-21 victory over the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Pequot Lakes and bumps their season record up to 19-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-23 record this season.
