Softball Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Knights vs. David Thibodaux Bulldogs

After flying high against Northside last Tuesday, Lafayette Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights fell just short of the David Thibodaux Bulldogs by a score of 12-10 on Tuesday. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

Kayden Hebert was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Hebert was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Victoria Hebert made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Leilani Hudson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Lafayette Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for David Thibodaux, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.
