Basketball Recap: NICHOLAS DEVLIN's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Putnam over Tourtellotte Memorial

Putnam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 57-37 to the Tourtellotte Memorial Tigers. The match marked the Clippers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Putnam lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was NICHOLAS DEVLIN, who went 6-for-15 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. CAMDEN KELL was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Tourtellotte Memorial, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Putnam didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-34 win against Parish Hill on the 12th. As for Tourtellotte Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 74-53 victory against East Windsor on the 12th.
