Spoto suffered their closest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Northside Christian Mustangs by a score of 56-53. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Northside Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaycen White out in front who posted 18 points and seven steals. With that strong performance, White is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Elijah Ahlers was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards.
