Tribe W beats NYOS Charter for their 21st straight win

Recap: Tribe W Warriors vs. NYOS Charter Jaguars

The Tribe W Warriors put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against NYOS Charter as Tribe W made off with a 49-24 win. The result was nothing new for Tribe W, who have now won six contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Joshua Mcalister continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 291 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 60 receiving yards. Mcalister's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Luke Lock, who threw for 77 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the loss, NYOS Charter still got an impressive performance from Lucas Harman, who rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Tribe W's win was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for NYOS Charter, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Tribe W will be playing at home against Victoria Cobra HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Tribe W likes a good challenge. As for NYOS Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Valor South Austin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
