Basketball Recap: St. Michael-Albertville Comes Up Short

On Friday, St. Michael-Albertville faced Wayzata in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The St. Michael-Albertville Knights were dealt a 90-59 defeat at the hands of the Wayzata Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-40 back in January.

St. Michael-Albertville's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Wayzata, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-4.

St. Michael-Albertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wayzata, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeLaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in DeLaSalle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
