Softball Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Wins Going Away Against Ransom Everglades

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Immaculata-La Salle walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 23-7 margin over the Ransom Everglades Raiders on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Royal Lions in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Daysi Gonzalez was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Anna Crosa was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

Immaculata-La Salle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .862. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Immaculata-La Salle's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Ransom Everglades, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
