Baseball Recap: Corydon Central Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Corydon Central's offense. They fell just short of the Bedford North Lawrence Stars by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corydon Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corydon Central will challenge Crawford County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Wolfpack at the right time seeing as the Wolfpack are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brownstown Central at 5:00 p.m.
