Basketball Recap: Paint Valley Comes Up Short

Paint Valley is still winless after their matchup against South Webster on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They fell just short of the South Webster Jeeps by a score of 34-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bearcats have suffered since January 30th.

Paint Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Webster, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paint Valley will venture away from home to face off against Huntington at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Huntington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for South Webster, they will head out to take on Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
