Football Game Preview: Kofa Kings vs. Cibola Raiders + Official Tickets

Kofa hasn't had much luck against Cibola recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kings will face off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Kofa has given up an average of 37.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-6, which was the final score in Kofa's tilt against Desert Sunrise on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Cibola never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past Yuma to the tune of 50-0. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Kofa better keep an eye on Marques Montague. He was instrumental in Cibola's win, rushing for 80 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Montague a new career-high.

Cibola was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 318 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Cibola is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.5 points on average over those games. As for Kofa, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Kofa was dealt a bruising 45-14 defeat at the hands of Cibola in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. Thankfully for the Kings, Isaiah Arriola (who rushed for 112 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 97 receiving yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
