It was close, but on Fridaythe Fremont Silverwolves capped 2024 with a 63-61 victory over the Bonneville Lakers thanks in part to Duft, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 27 points and four steals. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Campbell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.
Bonneville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Tesch, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Tesch is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Colby Dunyon was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points.
Fremont moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Bonneville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
