Soccer Game Preview: Homestead vs. Carroll

Homestead is 0-10 against Carroll since September of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Spartans will take on the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Homestead comes in on five and Carroll on 13.

Homestead is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let East Noble get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Homestead, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Carroll was able to grind out a solid win over Fort Wayne South Side on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. Carroll's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last 12 matchups.

Landon Wells was the driving force of Carroll's attack as he scored both of Carroll's goals, bringing his season total up to 19 goals.

Homestead's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-3. As for Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 16-1-1.
