Basketball Game Preview: Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Millers Creek Christian Lions

The Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders will square off against the Millers Creek Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Cornerstone Christian Academy came up short against Rockwell Christian School and fell 51-39.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Davin Fuller, who dropped a double-double on 15 rebounds and 11 blocks. Fuller is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Landon Farthing was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Millers Creek Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Heritage Christian on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 38-34 victory.

Millers Creek Christian found their leader in freshman Julian Houpe, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Carter Ward, who posted nine points.

The win got Millers Creek Christian back to even at 9-9. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Cornerstone Christian Academy came up short against Millers Creek Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 41-31.
