A well-balanced attack led Refugio over Edna in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bobcats blew the Cowboys out of the water with a 48-21 final score. Fans of the Bobcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Refugio had a senior duo take command as Ray Lewis rushed for 135 yards and three TDs and Zander Wills rushed for 72 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. Lewis is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

The win (which was Refugio's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average this season. As for Edna, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Refugio and Edna will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bobcats see the field they'll take on Premont at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Edna, their break will end when they face Orange Grove at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
