Thursday just wasn't the day for EF Academy's offense. They came up short against Polytechnic on Thursday, falling 5-0. The defeat continues a trend for EF Academy in their meetings with Polytechnic: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Polytechnic by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Considering the last time Flintridge Prep couldn't score was back in December of 2025, the team can't take the result too hard.

EF Academy now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Flintridge Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
