Shenandoah fell victim to Creston and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Panthers. The Mustangs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Creston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Shenandoah will challenge Denison-Schleswig at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Creston, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Clarinda on the 27th.
