Basketball Recap: Maryland School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Maryland School for the Deaf played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 63-18 loss at the hands of the Greater Grace Christian Academy Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Orioles in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Greater Grace Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nickole Lee, who posted 22 points. That's the most points Lee has posted since back in November of 2024. Bella Pellegrino was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Maryland School for the Deaf now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Greater Grace Christian Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Maryland School for the Deaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-42 loss against Redeemer Classical Christ on the 7th. As for Greater Grace Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-18 win against Mount Airy Christian Academy on the 6th.
