After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Foundation Academy, Montverde Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Trinity Prep Saints as the Montverde Academy Eagles made off with a 9-2 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Rainer Garcia and Danati Frontudo were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Garcia tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Frontudo tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At the plate, Garcia scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Frontudo got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Max Irving, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Jovan Familia was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Montverde Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Trinity Prep, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Montverde Academy has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 loss against Timber Creek on the 19th. As for Trinity Prep, they will square off against Windermere Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Prep is facing Windermere Prep at the right time seeing as Windermere Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
