Baseball Recap: Bend Has No Trouble Against Mcnary

Bend got themselves on the board against McNary on Thursday, but McNary never followed suit. They blew past the Celtics 15-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lava Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Will Goodman, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Fischer Barber, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Bend always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McNary only posted an OBP of .263.

Bend's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for McNary, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.
