Baseball Recap: Albert Gallatin Starts Season with Victory Against California

Albert Gallatin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the California Trojans.

Luke Wilson was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Easton Pryce was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Looking ahead, Albert Gallatin is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Connellsville at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for California, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Jefferson-Morgan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
