Russell Robbins posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in February.

Looking ahead, Robbins and Jackson Prep will head out to face off against St. Joseph Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Robbins' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Jackson Prep's 28-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Robbins and Jackson Prep surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
