Volleyball Recap: Colsen Neal and Nathan Dana Secure Win for Crimson Cliffs

Crimson Cliffs barely beat Cedar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Crimson Cliffs blew past Cedar 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Reds: they've now won three in a row.

While Crimson Cliffs might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cedar scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Leading Crimson Cliffs to victory were Nathan Dana and Colsen Neal. Dana had five digs and two aces, while Neal had 14 digs and one assist. Neal is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last ten games he's played.

Crimson Cliffs' record is now 8-4. As for Cedar, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crimson Cliffs will face off against Snow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar, they will square off against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cedar is facing Dixie at the right time seeing as Dixie is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
