Copper Hills's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Sky View Bobcats by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won five in a row.

Copper Hills' offense was headlined by Katarina Kovacevic and Lindsey Whittaker, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Paige Jensen and her 48 assists. Whittaker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Sky View's loss came despite strong showings from Brynn Spackman and Abby Thatcher. Spackman had 28 digs and five assists, while Thatcher had 24 digs and three assists. Thatcher is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Sophia Doxey also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Copper Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Sky View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Copper Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sky View, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Juab on the 26th.
