St. Joseph waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the Westhill Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-5 on Thursday.

St. Joseph pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Westhill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will challenge Wilton at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Westhill, they will face off against New Canaan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
