Recap: Isle of Wight Academy Chargers vs. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys
The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers fell victim to the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the Ospreys. Isle of Wight Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Kaden Saunders, who rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.
Isle of Wight Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, their win was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-1.
Isle of Wight Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
