Recap: Glasgow Dragons vs. Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles
The Glasgow Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Hodgson Vo-Tech on the road and fell 64-22. Glasgow has struggled against Hodgson Vo-Tech recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Hope Smith had an outrageously good game for Hodgson Vo-Tech as she scored 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. Kaniyah Melvin-mcneill was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Glasgow's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hodgson Vo-Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glasgow will take on Mount Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Glasgow is on a three-game streak of home losses, Mount Pleasant a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Hodgson Vo-Tech will take on Padua Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Padua Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
