Baseball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern and Eastern Randolph squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Northeastern had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Wildcats. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Northeastern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devon Shreaves, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Eastern Randolph, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

As of now, neither Northeastern nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
