Football Game Preview: Falkville Blue Devils vs. Winston County Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The Falkville Blue Devils will face off against the Winston County Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Falkville is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

On Friday, Falkville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Cold Springs, but they still walked away with a 28-22 win.

Falkville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samuel Jacobs out in front who rushed for 21 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 77 yards and one TD.

Falkville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli Harris and CJ Jackson. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Winston County got themselves on the board against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on Friday, but Decatur Heritage Christian Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 49-0. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Falkville's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Winston County, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Falkville was taken down by Winston County 49-6 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Blue Devils, Chris Clemons (who picked up 146 receiving yards and three scores, and also rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only seven carries) won't be suiting up this time.
