The Ithaca Yellowjackets put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They claimed a resounding 49-0 victory over Shepherd at home. The result was nothing new for Ithaca, who have now won seven matches by 49 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Jackson Conn, who threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes. Owen Mikulka was another key contributor, picking up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Ithaca's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44 points. As for Shepherd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Ithaca will be playing at home against Fowler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Fowler's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matchups. Shepherd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
