Volleyball Recap: Palisades Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Palisades came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Ardrey Kell Knights. The Pumas have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Palisades was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ardrey Kell work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 27-25.

Ardrey Kell can attribute much of their success to Hayley Rollar, who had seven digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Rollar a new career-high in assists (five).

Palisades now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Ardrey Kell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palisades will challenge rival Ballantyne Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ardrey Kell is set to square off against their familiar foe Rocky River at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
