Volleyball Recap: Annie Ricard Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

Faith Christian won the last time they faced Saks and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Faith Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Annie Ricard, who had ten kills and three digs. Ricard is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayson Cronan, who had five aces.

Faith Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Saks, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Holy Spirit Catholic on the 13th. As for Saks, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Wellborn on the 15th.
