Volleyball Recap: Vandalia Comes Up Short

Vandalia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro Hiltoppers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vandals of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14.

Vandalia's loss dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Hillsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Vandalia will take on Ramsey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillsboro, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Farina South Central on the 20th.
