Baseball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Eastern's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Valley Indians on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eastern's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Eastern and Valley will both be playing Wheelersburg the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Pirates at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
