Bishop Montgomery had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the South Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

While Bishop Montgomery might've won, it sure wasn't easy: South scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 16-25, 25-19.

Bishop Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Bishop Montgomery has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against West on the 1st. As for South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fillmore on the 28th.
