Basketball Recap: Jefferson County North Comes Up Short

Jefferson County North was the 59-41 winner over Horton when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Jefferson County North lost 59-34 to Horton on Monday. Jefferson County North has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson County North's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Horton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County North will venture away from home to take on Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Wednesday. As for Horton, they will challenge Troy on Friday.
