Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop Kelly Knights vs. Middleton Vikings

Bishop Kelly is 1-9 against Middleton since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Knights will challenge the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Bishop Kelly beat Vallivue 3-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Bishop Kelly had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Middleton made easy work of Nampa on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Middleton's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Bishop Kelly, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

Bishop Kelly suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Middleton when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
