Basketball Recap: Syracuse Takes a Loss

Syracuse suffered their biggest loss since January 17th on Monday. They came up short against the Goodland Cowboys, falling 50-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost six in a row.

Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Goodland, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Coming up, Syracuse will host Sublette at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Syracuse is facing Sublette at the right time seeing as Sublette is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Goodland, they will head out to take on Holcomb on Friday.
