Volleyball Recap: Pine Tree Takes a Loss

Pine Tree saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Red Oak Hawks.

Red Oak found their leader in freshman Maleah Ellis, who had eight assists and six digs.

Pine Tree's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Red Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Tree will square off against Elysian Fields at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Red Oak, they will welcome Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
