It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mid-Carolina can now relate to. They came up short against the Dixie Hornets on Friday, falling 4-1. Mid-Carolina's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Angie Reyes, who's now up to 13 this season.

Mid-Carolina's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Dixie, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
