Football Recap: Weleetka Triumphs Behind Punishing Ground Game + How To Watch

Weleetka extended their postseason success on Friday against Waukomis. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chiefs a 50-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Outlaws have won by exactly 50 points.

It was another big night for Bryant Sites, who picked up 92 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 132 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Those 132 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Drake, who rushed for 60 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Weleetka was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 245 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waukomis only rushed for four.

Weleetka's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Waukomis, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Weleetka will face off against Okeene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Outlaws will need to watch out since the Whippets have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. Waukomis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
