Football Game Preview: Throckmorton Greyhounds vs. Crowell Wildcats

The Throckmorton Greyhounds will take on the Crowell Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Throckmorton's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Blanket on Friday. They took a blow against the Tigers, falling 58-0. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Tigers are ranked 55th).

Meanwhile, Crowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Knox City 57-8. On the bright side, the eight- point effort marked the Wildcats' highest-scoring contest to date.

Throckmorton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Crowell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
