Softball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Monday. Jasper came up short against Purdy, falling 6-0. Jasper was not able to make up for their defeat to Purdy from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Jasper and nudges their season record down to 10-13. As for Purdy, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jasper will square off against Osceola at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. As for Purdy, they will challenge Southwest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
