Pacific Grove has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell just short of the Marina Mariners by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Breakers of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Oliver Crandall, who's now up to two this season.

Pacific Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-2. As for Marina, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacific Grove will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Anzar at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marina, they will venture away from home to square off against Oakwood at 4:00 p.m. on January 21st.
