Basketball Game Preview: Parkway Center City Bulldogs vs. Sayre Sabres

Parkway Center City and Sayre are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Parkway Center City Bulldogs will host the Sayre Sabres at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Parkway Center City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-41 to MAST Charter II. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Voyagers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Sayre had to endure a 13-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against South Philadelphia by a score of 51-40 on Tuesday.

Sayre's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Parkway Center City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Parkway Center City was dealt a bruising 63-25 defeat at the hands of Sayre in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Parkway Center City was down 36-8.
