Softball Recap: Putnam County Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Putnam County never let their opponents score on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Maysville Wolverines 2-0. The win was some much-needed relief for the Midgets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Putnam County's victory brought them up to 10-19. Maysville (8-10) has now lost eight in a row.

Coincidentally, Putnam County and Maysville will both be playing Princeton the next time they take the field. The Wolverines will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Midgets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
