After a string of 11 wins dating back to last season, the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to Fork Union Military Academy. Randolph-Macon Academy has struggled against Fork Union Military Academy recently, as their contest on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Defeat or not, Randolph-Macon Academy got some senior leadership from Chidera George who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds and Bilal Kebbay who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. George is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tega Esievo, who scored six points along with five assists.

Randolph-Macon Academy will challenge Wakefield School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield School is on a three-game streak of home wins, Randolph-Macon Academy a five-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Fork Union Military Academy will take on Prince Edward County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prince Edward County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
