Great Crossing faced Lexington Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warhawks fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Warhawks have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Great Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Lexington Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-1.

Coming up, Great Crossing will head out to challenge Woodford County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lexington Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
